PSi Remodeling Contractors Awards

PSi Remodeling has won numerous awards for their attention to detail, quality workmanship, and design expertise spanning over two decades:

Attention to Detail . . .
In 1991, PSi was awarded the National Grand Award from Remodeling Magazine for its interior remodel of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. They transcended the plain out-dated decor of the church into a classic, timeless, ornate vision of beauty. They fabricated and installed various wood carvings, mouldings and paneling to the altar, beams, columns, and block walls of the church, sanctuary and vestibule. Two local awards from that project followed including the local Remodelors™ Council Best of Show Grand Award and Best Commercial Under $100,000.

Creative Solutions . . .
In 1992, PSi was given an Artistic Merit Award by the Remodelors™ Council for an unusual remodel that they did for a local interior designer. They installed tongue and groove, white, knotty pine wainscotting, artfully decorated base boards, and their fabrications of the designer’s pencil drawings onto 1/4” mahogany plywood.

Excellence in Design . . .
In 1993, PSi won several awards for a whole house remodel, including the Best of Show Grand Award, First Place Kitchen Remodel, and First Place Interior Renovation. In this remodel, PSi moved the kitchen to a different location of the house and turned the existing kitchen into a formal dining room. Furthermore, they gained a large breakfast area and a laundry room. All this was done with no additions to the house.

Best Commercial . . .
Also in 1993, PSi won a Best Commercial Under $100,000 award for its conversion of a 3-car garage to a house.

Our Third Best of Show Grand Award . . .
In 1998, PSi won two awards for another whole house remodel; the First Place Interior Renovation and the Best of Show Grand Award from the local Remodelors™ Council. They turned an ugly, dark, cramped 4 bedroom, flat-roofed home into a luxurious, pitched-roof, Northern New Mexico-Style home with two large bedrooms, an over-sized bath, and walk-in closets.

Our Third Whole-House Remodel Award . . .
In 1999, PSi won First Place Whole House Remodel from the RemodelorsTM Counsel. They updated a Sandia Heights home by sandblasting the dark stained wood tongue and groove ceilings, posts, corbels and beams throughout the home. They also installed 1500 square feet of floor tile and remodeled the kitchen. They built a 500 square foot second story addition which provided for a larger master bedroom and bath upstairs and a third garage bay/workshop downstairs.

Continuing The Trend . . .
In 2007 PSi won two Excellence In Remodeling Awards for Whole House Remodel Design, and Small Kitchen Remodel Design by The Remodelers Council. Our attention to the details from the custom made flush mounted hardwood floor vent covers, right down to the complementing hardware earned these prestigious awards.
